Crocodile Card Players in Shazam! Movie Receive a Long-Awaited Storyline

Shazam! The Shazam! men are anthropomorphic Crocodile men. David F. Sandberg plotted a new prequel shot that will feature the men of Shazam!

The crocodile men were briefly mentioned in 2019’s SHAZ! finally have a spinoff story showing them trying to take over the Rock of Eternity.

Shazam! Fury of the Gods Special Shazamily Matters #1 – Written by the cast and crew of the DC Film, this anthology one-shot features the reptilian humanoids of “Crocodile Catastrophe”, a story written by the director of Shazam! Scott Kolins illustrated and scripted the films. The story centers on the Shazam family’s game of tag at the Rock of Eternity when they are rudely interrupted and robbed by the crocodiles.

The crocodilian reign is made worse by the reptiles using magical scepters that devolve lightning-powered heroes and turn them into raging simians. The Shazam Familie’s patron, however, intervenes to save the day. He uses his magic and makes the leading crocodile priestess develop. The Shazam Family is brought back to normal by the priestess’s elevated intelligence.

Who Are The Crocodile Men of Shazam

The three crocodiles were a reference to the anthropomorphized, reptiles Captain Marvel fought during his classic comics. They first appeared in the final of Shazam. The Rock of Eternity doors were discovered by Billy Batson with his adoptive family. Each door opened up to another realm, but one led to a world where three suits-clad crocodiles were seated at a table playing Poker. Shazam! Fury of the Gods Special Shazamily Matters 1 reveals that these “gentle-crocs”, or the “gentle-crocs”, were plotting an invasion and had obtained the magical artifacts needed to enter their side of the doors.
